The Masala Trails tours are hosted by Rushina Munshaw-Ghildiyal, a noted Indian cuisine author and columnist, who will lead the journey ‘off the road less eaten’ and introduce you to the piquant flavours, delicate aromas and tantalising dishes that have influenced many cultures and imperial courts for over 5,000 years.

Enjoy outstanding accommodations at a variety of luxury properties and heritage hotels including Taj Hotels and Trident Hotels, numerous sightseeing, market and culinary excursions and an array of sumptuous Indian meals and cooking demonstrations.

Offering two unique tour options, South India Masala Trails runs 30 September to 10 October, 2011; North India Masala Trails runs 13-23 October, 2011. The programs can be combined with a complimentary three night stay in Goa.

Guide Rushina Munshaw Ghildiyal, accommodation for 23 nights, daily breakfast, 6 lunches and 10 dinners, all transfers, sightseeing by air-conditioned vehicle, monument entry fees, English speaking local guide for sightseeing and a local culinary expert for market and cooking demos, one way each elephant and jeep ride at Amber Fort, Kathakali Dance show, boat ride in Periyar, spice plantation tour, all currently applicable taxes including Government Service Tax.

Exclusions
camera fees at monuments, international & domestic airfares (approximately $400), airport tax, any items of personal nature (e.g. laundry charges, telephone bills, drinks, shopping etc.), any compulsory meal supplements for festive occasions, any item that is not mentioned under Inclusions.
